Dignified Apprenticeships.
Real Opportunity.
Ichyou offers paid, high-support culinary apprenticeships to overlooked talent—bridging the gap between potential and profession.
A Culture of Dignity
We create kitchens where everyone feels safe, respected, and empowered to grow. You’ll never be treated like a cog—we invest in your full potential.
Competitive Pay
Apprentices earn $34/hour from day one—plus opportunities for growth. We believe fair pay is the foundation of real opportunity.
Real Benefits
Full health insurance, paid time off, and mentorship support come standard. We care for the whole person—not just the position.
We Exist For You
Ichyou: The Strategic Solution
The job market is broken—and not just in theory. In this video, career expert Bryan Creely explains how modern hiring practices, corporate greed, and performative job listings have created a system where opportunity feels rigged, arbitrary, and disheartening.
Candidates are ghosted, job listings are fake, and entry-level roles require five years of experience. Employers exploit desperation, while inflated credentialism and disconnected HR departments shut out capable people with real drive.
At Ichyou, we believe the answer isn’t more gatekeeping—it’s more bridges.
That’s why we created a model that replaces exclusion with investment. By embedding overlooked talent directly into professional kitchens—with mentorship, pay, and purpose—we flip the power dynamic and turn potential into proven skill.
Watch this clip. See the problem for what it is. Then learn how our apprenticeships offer a better way forward.
Ichyou actively recruits from overlooked communities—but all apprentices must bring real kitchen experience and a desire to lead.
Who We Serve: To be eligible, all applicants must have at least three consecutive years of experience working in a professional kitchen. We welcome cooks, line leads, and prep specialists who are ready to grow into leadership. However we show special consideration to kitchen professionals from the groups below.
Experienced Kitchen Workers
Folks who have worked in the industry for years, but have not had the opportunity to step up and lead.
People Without College Degrees
We believe leadership isn’t defined by a diploma. If you’ve built your career through hustle and hands-on skill, you deserve a path forward.
Aged-Out Foster Youth
For those who’ve navigated the system without a family, we offer structure, support, and a community committed to your success in the kitchen and beyond.
Veterans
We value your discipline, resilience, and team mindset. Our program helps you transition your service experience into culinary leadership.
